Every Child Gets A Laptop

I recently stumbled on an organization that set out to give kids in growing countries laptops. Know as the "XO Laptop" it runs on a Linux OS. Small, durable, and a bright green color, its supposed to be a very low cost laptop. It has gotten quite a bit of press attention over the past couple years. The question often asked is "Why do kids in developing countries need a laptop?"
"One Laptop Per Child is a project about the transformation of education. It's about giving children who don't have the opportunity for learning that opportunity. So it's about access, it's about equity, and it's about giving the next generation of children in the developing world a bright and open future." Walter Bender, President, Software and Content.

I personally think it's a great organization and I wish them the best of luck. If anyone that reads this is able to help, please do so and know that you are doing a great deed.
